Day 13: Returning to (good) old habits

Attempting not to buy presents for family birthdays, I’ve gone back and found a load of old wool that I had lying around, and am now making socks. Which is lovely – had forgotten how much I like doing this. Of course, usually I would have to buy the wool – so have begun to think about asking people for old balls of wool they aren’t using to make things.

How fantastic Keri, very inspiring. I always want to do projects like this but never give myself the time. Also, I can't knit, but I did used to do a lot of crafting! Well done :) and I think it's a great idea to ask people about unused wool - many of us have a tendancy to just hold on to things with good intentions but it just sits there.. I hope the recipient loves the socks, they sound cosy :) Respond
