I was all prepared for this challenge or so I thought. Switching form disposable nappies to reusable ones isn’t as easy as I imagined it. I think my challenge is a bit more complicated and same time maybe more interesting because it is not only mine. Obviously there is my baby girl involved and daddy as well.
We are all gradually getting a hang of it.
Noticeable change – waste bin is less full and much less stinkier 😉

cCHANGE Team commented on Day 4: Challenge day 4 3 years agoHi Karolina, Leonie from cCHANGE here. What a fantastic challenge you have taken on. Impressive. You hinted that this challenge impacts your family around you. That is what we will be exploring together this week - the people around us and whether they support or hinder our change. Also the culture collectively, does it support or hinder us. You also mentioned it has been a bit more complicated than imagined. Do you mean at the practical level? What have you had to do/change practically to make this change happen? Are you washing the dirty nappies yourself? What has that meant for your house? Is it hard to dry the cloth nappies? I am curious about why you chose this challenge, what made you want to take this on? I really acknowledge your committment and great reflection in your first post. We look forward to hearing more about your challenge.. Best wishes, Leonie Respond

Karolina Bacinska commented on Day 4: Challenge day 4 3 years agoHi Leonie, Getting on just fine now. It is still a bit complicated because not all reusable nappies are the same (different brands) and we found out that some are better for the night time while the other work better during more active day time. I had to equppied myself in set of reusable nappies of course and had to change my mindset about it. I mean it is just that using disposable ones is so simple, accessible and cheap. Yes, I wash them myself and some days use tumble dryer Respond
