My personal challenge has had its ups and downs:
– too much coffee in the cup (many times)!
– forgetting the cup (a couple of times)!
+ finally getting the amount of liquid in the cup just right (twice)!
– being shocked at the 15 pound price tag for a reusable cup (once)!
Anyway, I am generally pleased with how my personal challenge has gone (which I intend to keep doing), but I have found it hard to keep on top of the text messages and attend the different review meetings as part of the cChallenge month – the time needed to report back/review/reflect has been very difficult to find at times.
Overall, it has been well worth doing!

Shandin Rickard-Hughes commented on Day 29: Nearly done! 4 years agoWell done Simon! This really does make such a big difference - millions of coffee cups go to landfill (or are littered) every year and most will take hundreds of years to fully break down. It is difficult, but well worth it once you get into the habit with your re-usable cup. So glad to hear that you plan to keep doing it! Respond

cCHANGE Team commented on Day 29: Nearly done! 4 years agoHi Simon, Great to meet you again on Zoom today. Thanks for your reflection on the last 30 days! And congratulations on sticking with it. It sounds like you overcame a few obstacles and have integrated this as a new habit. Did you see Mario's funny post about cup-napping - https://climatejustice.cchallenge.no/eco-friendly-criminal-mastermind-posting/ Could be inspiriation for how to take your challenge to the systems level in the School? Thanks so much for joining the challenge, experimenting, and reflecting on what it takes to make a sustainable change. Hope to see you at the wrap up on Friday. Warm wishes, Leonie Respond
